I would run a bar like Sante's build. But isn't that a variant of the rt flag runner build?

Whoops...I hate it when I make a build, then discover it's widely used.

Well, if you have somebody in the melee position. Although for me it really is too good to give up.
Even though it's the build for a GvG flagrunner though, I still love running it myself.

Not very true. It's damage is only slightly different. It just comes in two packets, that is every second.

Well, outside of AB and an occasional RA battle, I don't PvP, so I had no idea of its GvG applications. It's not like that build is very complex, anyways.
Anyhow, Ancestor's Rage is kind of a gamble in AB. If your team is good, they won't mob in the first place and foes will recognize it after the 1st packet (though, again, AB is filled with both good and poor players).
Give the situation, Spirit Rift might be better for capturing shrines, but since AB has any given number of combat variables, it's hard to say.

This is what i run in AB only for capping purposes..
[Cruel Was Daoshen][Destructive Was Glaive][Spirit Rift][Essence Strike][Soothing Memories][Generous Was Tsungrai][Death's Charge][Dash]
Its only energy management is soothing and essence. you dont have a spirit so essence wont do much unless you are a shrine that has a ritualist. Basically, u carry around CwD and cast spirit rift on npcs, run in, cast CwD again, cast DwG then drop DwG. If you are alone, 16 channeling would kill all soft targets.
Sometimes i run dark escape in the maps that have ele shrines. Death's charge can be swaped also for some e-management skill. very potent if you're focused on capping.

something with either or both [skill]warmongers weapon[/skill] / [skill]splinter weapon[/skill]
[skill]ancestors rage[/skill] maybe?
maybe go with resto as 2nd attribute for some support or maybe rt/r nightmare marksman with high marksmanship and [skill]nightmare weapon[/skill]
<<<possibility?
